Red Rock Canyon is located just west of Las Vegas and is an amazing place for easy hiking among amazing colors and rocks. Each of the times I’ve been there has been during weekday early evenings and there has never been major crowds but on the weekend it is often very busy I’m told. Just a great site to visit.
Note: When we were working and travel time was tight, we liked to use Las Vegas as a jumping off point. Grab a flight out, rent a car and off on adventures!
