>> California sites

We visited Shelter Cove, CA while on our roadtrip to see the Redwood National Park. This was a unique beach site for us to visit while in California as it’s beach is a black beach. It is made up of small black/grey round rocks and sand. Quite a unique beach. I have see black beaches in other countries but this was the first time I saw one on our shored. It is located in the Humboldt Country area. It was late when we arrived so we were able to enjoy the sunset and the changing of the evening light. Again, we were the only ones there at this time.
