I remember growing up in the midwest and traveling down 55 toward St. Louis and I’d see the roadside signs on barns for Meramec Caverns. Over the years I’ve visited a few times and always enjoy the visit. It is a large cavern system and the tour is always great. There is a campground there also plus they have added a zip line too. (I haven’t had a chance to try it yet.) The pictures here cover 1986 and 2006. If I find my other years slides and prints I’ll add them also.
