We visited Caprock Canyon State Park on our trip to take Alecia out to her new base assignment in New Mexico. This state park has some great hiking trails through desert brush and volcanic rocks. The campground is the usual and I bet the skies are amazingly dark there. Probably great for some astronomy viewing and astro-photography.
